Our Story
Led By The Shepherd is a Toronto-based Christian band, spearheaded by Vaughn Shideler, the composer of the band's music. Lyrically, we attempt to present many of the teachings and imagery of the Bible into song form. Musically, we wish to create compelling melodies and deep grooves that hook the listener from the get-go. We believe that the apostle Paul said it best: "...be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ." (Ephesians 5:18-21, ESV)
